My Tammy Faye Makeover

Well, obviously, my sense of color needs some work here. Actually, what I need is a better memory when it comes to the editing of the html. I found a shoutbox that I like, but still want to make the colors match the background of that background box. A work in progress, kids. I have also located several of my efx2 friends and have included linkage to their blogs here. Some of them (the respective blogs) have not been used since November of last year or even further back in time. Hopefully, they (the bloggers) will resurface here and discover the new homes.

I've got a ton of questions about this place - like how did my friends who commented already know I was here? Is there a membership list someplace or was my new blog highlighted for a minute or something? Either way, I'm glad to have been found by them. If you find your blog isn't listed & we are buds, let me know where you are blogging now, so I can edit the linkage.

So... whatcha think? Should I go with the purple eyeliner or the green? ;)

I found ya by just taking a chance and typing in a blogspot addy with your screename. Then I automatically linked ya to my place. I don't know how others found ya though.

I found you because you found me. LOL

Yes, it is sad that I have been on two ships that sunk and now you know the feeling. Anyway, in my case it was the best thing that could have happened. I have met hundreds more people who have turned out to be wonderful friends who visit and comment and seem to appreciate the effort. It isn't a community but a lot of work we all do.

I have three blogs now. One is a daily photo from my city. I mostly do animals and insects. Another is my bird blog that is fairly new and you were at it. And the third is my website which harbors all sorts of things.

You found me thru Will. If he had not sent me an e-mail I would probably still be waiting for EFX to come back . I'm glad he started his new blog here and share the info before the EFX ship sank. He's like our own little life boat captain!

P.S. I love the new look! Your dog looks so happy!

Patty Lincoln sent me an email, telling me her blog is here. She told me there were a few efx2 refugees here, so I jumped on board. :D Thank goodness for our angels who told us about where everyone else was going. *blesses the angels* :D

lmc - that's a pic of my sweet, dearly departed Cricket. She was yawning and I snapped that pix at just the right moment. She was such a clown. :D

Who knows how I can change the backest background on my blog to a pretty, dark purple? I sort of like the green and the chocolate boxes, but want the very back to be purple. I also need to get rid of the header that is behind my custom Chica made banner. Help??? Puleeeze? :D

Easiest way to change your background colour is to go into 'customise' at the top of the page, then in the 'template' tab, click on 'fonts & colours'.

Now, depending on the template you have used, it might or might not let you change it. Mine for instance is set on black and I can't change it because the template code does not allow me to, unless I get all technical and hack into the HTML code, and I'm to thick to do that...lol

I found you through Lisa's (LMC's) site over here. I am working on my old site here. It's at dr_dog.blogspot.com. Note the underline--some guy who posted one time in 2003 has the "drdog" name, and I took this one.

Just wrote a brand new entry here. First one in close to two years.

Wow - it is so great to see all my friends showing up here. I must admit, Occasionally Crazy has me puzzled about who you are. Hopefully, there is an email to help clear up that mystery. LOL

I've added links to you, Peter & for everyone else here. :D Now, if only we had our special smilies again... :(

Hi Kimmi, I found your name on Tara's site. This place is a little frustrating, but we'll get use to it.

I found you because you were linked on someone's page. We seem to be a rather intertwined group around here. LOL
